Bog oak ("marais" in French) is a wood hardened by the natural elements. It has been underwater for thousands of years, deprived of light and oxygen. During this time, its color darkens and metallic salts make the wood extra strong.
The Bog Oak series is inspired by the majesty of this precious material, which has been waiting for its rebirth and has been given a new life in Lutiki jewelry: as a relic that has preserved the history of the past for us.
